Scania 530S - Jan Muskee

Scania 530S - Jan Muskee

We built Jan Muskee’s Scania 530S on his behalf. Jan bought the vehicle in Belgium and it needed refurbishing. We gave the vehicle a complete overhaul, both inside and out.
On the outside, we started by removing all the old wiring and lighting. We then rebuilt the truck and fitted it with various accessories, entirely in Jan’s corporate style. This includes a rotating beacon bar on the roof, two Omnius Coltrane air horns alongside it and five Volvo roof lights at the front of the roof. Below that is a 140x40 cm Classic light box, flanked by two Strands Ambassador spotlights (Dark Knight). The build is completed by a straight 34 cm Fox Parts sun visor, fitted with five cut-outs for Scania NG sun visor lights.

Bumper with Gylle LED marker lights

The grille features two Omnius smoked twin-burner units, with Vepro corner shields at the corners. Four Strands Dark Knight Ambassador lamps are fitted at the bottom of the grille. The front end is further enhanced by two Gylle LED marker lights in the bumper and a Solarguard Type 7 under-bumper spoiler with two Talmu daytime running lights.

Stainless steel bracket in the mudguard

We have fitted a light bar at the rear of the cab. This is fitted with five red Omnius side marker lights. At the rear, we have again fitted two Gylle LED width lights. We have done this using a stainless steel bracket that fits neatly behind the mudguard. In the centre, we have fitted a Fox Parts battery box.

The interior has also been upgraded

Once the work on the exterior was complete, we turned our attention to the interior. Erik, the driver of this Scania, had a clear request: a sleek and uncluttered interior. The walls, headliner and floor were to be finished completely flat, with only studs visible beneath the front cupboard and in the door panels. The colour scheme had to match the exterior, with black and light grey as the base. The storage compartments in the upper side walls were left open and four spotlights were fitted into the headliner. The text ‘Het zwarte schaap’ (The Black Sheep) was applied to the rear wall, complete with lighting. A new radio and an audio upgrade complete the interior.
