Controller that converts the 5V signal from the truck's built-in dimmer to 12V or 24V, depending on the connected power supply. This means you can connect standard LEDs and LED strips and still dim them using the built-in 5V or 24V dimmer, without overloading it or causing a malfunction.

The controller is easy to connect using the screw terminals.

Connection:

INPUT
DIM5V - Plus of the Scania/Volvo dimmer is connected here (5V)
IN- Connection to the truck's negative (12V/24V)
IN+ Connection to the truck's ground

OUTPUT
OUT+ Output with positive for the lighting (12V/24V)
OUT- Output with negative for the lighting

It is important that you use both GND and 24V on the controller when the lighting is connected. The controller must be placed as close as possible to the dimmer.

Fuses
There is a 15A fuse (low-profile Minival) on the PCB inside the housing.

There is also a thermal fuse present, which cannot be replaced but is intended solely as extra protection in the event of defects on the PCBs or severe overload.
